Dubai - Mubasher: National General Insurance Co (NGI) witnessed a direct deal worth AED 71.067 million on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

The transaction involved the trading of 22.778 million shares at a value of AED 3.12 apiece, the DFM said in a statement on Wednesday. 

This raises the total stake of Dubai Investments in NGI by 15.19% to 45.18%. 

In a separate disclosure, Emirates NBD Bank said it no longer holds any shares in NGI, following the sale deal, noting that Emirates NBD Capital was the sole financial adviser on this divestment.
